At Door Direct Marketing, we're always keeping an eye out for more independent canvassers to service our clients with quality leads and distribution.
If you are an experienced canvasser, or the right person, we'd love to discuss the possibility of you working for Door Direct Marketing. As one of our canvassers, you can:
- Work as much or as little as you like.
- Decide your own schedule.
- Organize your work your way.
- Work alone or in a team--it's up to you.
- Earn an income directly proportional to your effort. That is, for what you accomplish--not having to rely on 'closed sales' or any other unreliable payment structures.
Canvassing is a unique form of work, better suited to some individuals than others. If you are experienced in canvassing or in door-to-door sales, you'll have no trouble making a great income at Door Direct Marketing. While canvassing doesn't involve actual selling, sales experience definitely helps in producing leads. If you haven't canvassed before, here are some details and traits that will help you decide if this fun and adventurous position could work for you :
- An independent and entrepreneurial mind. You'll make income only when you produce. Some people just aren't comfortable with the responsibility to yourself when you earn solely on your results. You must be comfortable with 'feast or famine' being solely up to you. That said, if you are serious about working (not a slacker), you'll make far more than a typical day-job, on your own terms, and in a great environment.
- Good people skills. Having no fear of talking to strangers will help tremendously. If you're just getting started in the working world, this position will help you develop people skills and overcome that fear. Tired of being timid? Jump right in and you'll get over it.
- Ambition. Drive. Tenacity. Self-motivation. With the drive to succeed, you'll be able to push yourself to reach and exceed your personal goals, and the sky's the limit.
- Desire for more than typical wage. If you're young, you have the opportunity to make much more money doing this than working at a fast food restaurant, an evening retail job, or anything else that pays a low hourly rate. And, working independently in a position like this will push you to discover and expand your personal limits, give you great experience that will help with future careers, and the mindset for starting your own business.
- Limited schedule? If you're already established in the working world, or have a restricted schedule, you can earn a full-time income doing this part-time. We have stay-at-home moms working a few hours a week, college students putting in time to pay for school, or 9-to-5'ers using this position for a second income on the weekends. And if you want to do this full-time, go right ahead, and your income will go through the roof!
